TIMELY CALLS ARE IMPORTANT: Progressive are pushing for this bill to be adopted this month. Tell your Representatives that we want the full BBB Act to be funded.

 Provisions of the BBB Plan:

  1. Health Care: Close the Medicaid gap & extend improvements in the Affordable Care Act;
  2. Home & Community Based Services (alternatives to nursing homes for elderly/disabled);
  3. Child Care, Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Tax Credit: Help moms and dad’s to work and support their families;
  4. Housing Choice Vouchers: Help 1.7 million households and reduce homelessness;
  5. Nation’s first comprehensive Family & Medical Leave;
  6. Nutrition Assistance to reduce childhood hunger;
  7. Allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices and cover vision, hearing and dental care;
  8. Provide universal preschool and free community college;
  9. Environmental & climate justice: create good paying jobs that support climate justice.
  10. Pay for this plan by increasing taxes on the wealthy and corporations who use loopholes to avoid paying their fair share of taxes.
  11. MUUSJN works with several organizations that are fighting for these transformative reforms.
