Activists are concerned that politicians are trying to undermine the 2020 election by attacking mail in ballots, suppressing the vote and refusing to commit to a peaceful transfer of power. Throughout Michigan and the nation, demonstrations are being held on November 4th to protect election results in the following Michigan cities: Ann Arbor; Ferndale/Detroit; Brighton; Howell; Lansing; Traverse City; Grand Rapids; Benton Harbor; Kalamazoo; Houghton; and other cities. Voting is not just political, but a moral action. UU’s uphold the right of every person to have their voice heard. Elections have consequences for our environment, for people of color, women, LGBTQ people, immigrants and low income families.
